MY EDUCATION
In high school, my growing interest in art led me to take classes in Design, Drawing, and music. After earning Cum Laude, I decided to pursue Graphic Design at the NASAD-accredited STLCC Meramec.
When the COVID-19 outbreak hit, STLCC swiftly transitioned to online classes, which luckily allowed me to continue my studies. During this time, I had the privilege to showcase my work in the 2020-2021 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition and join Phi Theta Kappa. After earning my AAS degree in Graphic Communications (with a perfect 4.0!), I attended Webster University, known for its outstanding design and animation programs.
While at Webster, I joined both AIGA and SIGGRAPH, connecting with amazing artists and animators who helped elevate my skills. As my portfolio expanded, so did my creative thinking and confidence as an animator, culminating in my graduation with a BFA in Graphic Design, a certificate in Motion Graphics, and a minor in Animation Production.

MY EXPERIENCE
During my time at Webster, I took full advantage of the internship program and landed a summer design intern position at the wonderful Notion Partners. There, I created print and digital designs for a Verity Solutions event, handled file clean-up and editing in Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint, and contributed to storyboard and cell animation material for an Accredo video project.
Before that, I gained valuable experience as a Retail Associate at Hobby Lobby, where I became well-acquainted with craft materials, honed my people skills, and managed various tasks including stocking shelves and operating the cash register.
At STLCC, I participated in a theatre department competition for poster designs, earning first place for "God of Carnage" and second for the Student Directing Showcase. I collaborated with the director and marketing team to create impactful social media graphics and print materials.
That same year, I helped the local business Jiwe Na Nyuki establish its brand identity by designing product labels and additional printed assets for their delicious honey.
