A Tasty Cake Project
This design was derived from a fun abstract typography poster project.
We were assigned to create a typography poster, however, I thought that there could be a physical element of the poster. So I attempted to create a poster on a cake sheet, instead of paper.
To complete the project I had to complete the typographic element of the poster within 2 days of the assignment. Next, I sent my design to Ediblektoppers and had them print me the cake sheet. The sheet took about a week to receive, but it was well worth it.
I attempted to bake my own cake at first, however, the process didn't turn out well. Instead, I commissioned my local Walmart bakery to make a cake with orange and yellow frosting.
(However, my second attempt at creating this cake was more successful, as I was able to bake and decorate the cake myself fully).
